In August we officially welcomed Coach Sam and his team from Triple S Swim School to the Casuarina Storm family. Sam has hit the ground running and we are excited for the future of the Club.
Sam is a young, determined swim coach who began his own competitive swimming journey when he was 12 years old. During his competitive swimming days, Sam represented the Northern Territory on numerous occasions, including Pacific School Games, School Sports Swimming, Arafura Games, and the 10th BIMPNT-EAGA Friendship Games (Brunei). His leadership qualities were evident then, as he was often selected as NT Team Captain.
Sam has been working throughout Darwin as a Coach and Learn to Swim Teacher for the past 6 years and has since refined and started his own, highly successful, swim school in the Greater Darwin Region: Triple S Swim School.
Sam is a qualified Development Level Coach and has diverse contacts throughout the swimming industry in Australia. He is also in his final year of university, studying a Bachelor of Secondary Education with a focus in Mathematics and Health and Physical Education. Sam’s background in Education, combined with his experience in competitive swimming and learn to swim, makes him an asset to Casuarina Storm, and swimming in the NT in general.
Sam strives to create a positive, supportive training environment which allows for others to believe in themselves and realise their potential in all aspects of their lives. Sam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with his coaching, and we are excited for the future of the Club.
Welcome Coach Sam and Triple S Swim School to the Casuarina Storm family!
