Club Nights 2023-2024

The Club Night calendar has been set for the 2023-2024 Season. Dates are as follows:​

• Season Opener - Friday 1st September 

• Club night 1 - Friday 10th November 

• Club night 2 - Friday 8th December 

• Club night 3 - Friday 9th February (date updated on 15/1/2024)

• Club night 4 - Friday 22nd March 

• Club night 5 - Friday 19th April 

• Club night 6 - Friday 24th May

VENUE: Royal Darwin Hospital Pool

TIME: Gates open from 5pm, Racing from 5.30pm

Nominate for up to 5 events per club night.

We will be using the app Swim Club Connect to run club nights. It is available for a 30 day free trial, after that it is $10.49 per annum to continue to use it. It is recommended that you purchase the paid version as it allows you to keep track of your child's times so you can see how they are progressing. Please nominate asap in the App (helps with catering). Come and try swimmers are most welcome, just select YES when asked if you are a member in the App.

To nominate for events, you will need to:

1. Download the Swim Club Connect App from the App store on either an Apple or Android device.

2. Parent/Guardian will need to sign up for an account and then add your child/children as swimmers. 

3. Search for Casuarina Swimming Club and enter the member code 4834

You will see all the club nights we have for the season already set up. 

4. NOMINATE your swimmer for events in the club night you will be attending.

On the day of the meet:

1. Entries will be open right up until about 5.15pm. After that, when the meet is closed for entries, the events will automatically seed, and parents will see which lane and heat their child is in. 

2. The App will send a notification to parents to KEEP TIME when the starter is ready. 

3. Press KEEP TIME on the App and choose a lane to time keep. We can have one or two timekeepers per lane.

4. The starter will use a start signal to start the race.  Timekeepers must also press START when they hear the starting signal which is then synced with the starter. 

5. Timekeepers press STOP when the swimmer touches the wall.

6. Timekeepers must also press SAVE once the race is completed.
